How would you fill in the blank?

Jesus is_? started as a campaign in Seattle, Washington, USA, to get people to engage with the question of who Jesus is. As we embark on an exciting new journey at St Mark’s with our building project we are using this sermon series to remind ourselves of what it is really all about… Jesus!

People fill in the blank in many different ways, for all sorts of people Jesus is a lot of things, but the real answer is in the Bible. It says that Jesus is the Son of God, who came to earth on a mission to restore mankind to God. By living a perfect life, dying on a cross, and coming back to life, His mission was a success. We can know God because of Jesus.

The future and the vision of this church is all about Jesus. We gather to worship Jesus, we are called to grow to become more like Jesus and we are sent by Jesus to go and make disciples. This September as we begin this series we invite you to consider how you would fill in the sentence, Jesus is_.
