Since the earliest days of the church, Christians have spent the time before Easter seeking a closer connection with God through scripture, prayer and fasting. As you walk the Lent Journey you do so within a company of saints that stretches across Wigan to the ends of the earth, and throughout all ages. How awesome to be amongst such a cloud of witnesses!
