What is Alpha?

The Alpha Course started in one church in London and has now been run in 169 different countries. It is estimated that 1.2 Million people in Britain have attended the course.

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha consists of 10 talks, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’ using the Alpha Film Series.

This Autumn 2017 we are running an Evening Alpha, Daytime Alpha and a Men’s Alpha.

Alpha Evening Course

Starts Monday 25th September at 7 pm

Alpha Daytime Course

Starts Tuesday 26th September at 1 pm (with a crèche facility)

Men’s Alpha Course

Starts Saturday 30th September at 9.30 am

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
