Our Harvest Appeal for 2016 will be in support of ‘Fur Clemt’.
Fur Clemt is a Real Junk Food Project, a global, organic network of pay as you feel cafes. The Real Junk Food Project diverts food destined for waste and uses it to create delicious and healthy meals.
Ann Fairhurst, one of the leaders of Fur Clemt, was licensed last month as a Local Missional Leader as part of the Transforming Wigan movement to see 1 in 10 people in Wigan on a journey of discipleship with Jesus. In our harvest worship Ann will be sharing all that God has been doing in her life and through her ministry and the fantastic work of Fur Clemt.
May we use this harvest as a time to consider our own fruitfulness in God’s kingdom and from the abundance of God’s provision generously support the work of Fur Clemt.
We will be joining together in our All Age Worship at 11 am around tables followed by a pay-as-you-feel meal provided by Fur Clemt.
As usual it will be a CAKE Sunday – when we bake cakes and bring them to church to share. We will be sharing the cakes following our meal.
Please note: to be able to set up effectively there will be no service at 9.15 am.
