What is Alpha?

The Alpha Course started in one church in London and has now been run in 169 different countries. It is estimated that 1.2 Million people in Britain have attended the course.

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions held on Tuesday evenings to discuss the Christian faith in an informal, fun and friendly environment. Alpha consists of 10 talks, looking at topics including ‘Who is Jesus?’ and ‘Why and how do I pray?’

We are starting with a launch evening on Tuesday 21st April 2015 with live music and delicious hot pot. The course is spread over 10 Tuesday evenings.

Who is Alpha for?

Alpha is for everyone; no question is out of bounds and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish. We don’t assume any background knowledge of or belief in Christianity and everyone is welcome.
