Party in the Park 

For over 10 years we have held ‘Party in the Park’.  This is a community fun day organised by St Marks Church, Newtown and supported by Wigan Culture and Leisure Trust. The event takes place in Alexandra Park, Newtown. Entry is free.

The Alpha Course

Church Building Work

In September 2015 we moved out of our church building so that our exciting project could begin. The brief of the project is to redevelop the church to make it more available for community and church use. Empire Development & Construction Limited of Liverpool a currently building a new entrance ramp leading to the porch, a new foyer, new rooms for community and church groups, new toilets, a large kitchen, office space, a re-ordered sanctuary and chancel, new zonal heating system, new lighting, a new sound and visual system, and storage areas.
